Appearance: Ruby red tending towards garnet with typical violet hues.
Nose: Complex and intense with notes of plum and ripe red fruit. Notes of light spice, white pepper and cinnamon complete the olfactory picture.
Palate: Velvety and full-bodied, with a great structure and hints of ripe red fruit, jam and light spices. Well-oxygenated, the wine expresses hints of tobacco and roots that enrich its complexity. The tannins are soMantic and perfectly integrated and the acidity brings a pleasant freshness. The aftertaste is warm and elegant with hints of toasted nuts and wheat.
Best With: Roasts, grilled red meats, steak, lamb, cured meats in general and mature cheeses.
